Client:
The Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership at Rollins College, Winterpark, Florida, is dedicated to strengthening nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. They achieve this by offering education and management support programs designed to enhance board management, elevate the operational practices of nonprofit organizations, and broaden the influence of the nonprofit sector.

Mission:
The institute, established relatively recently, recognized the need for a more accessible approach to presenting their course materials. After the collaboration, we concluded that creating a series of engaging explainer videos would be the ideal solution.

Outcome:
A set of 4-5 minute explainer videos featuring a consistent color palette, minimalist design elements, and simplified characters to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing look and feel.

Services:
Storyboarding, Illustration, Motion Design, Video Editing

The following are snippets from a few of the explainer videos. The course material is not available publicly therefore, only a selection of scenes are displayed here.
“Zahra’s illustrations and animation brought our training videos to life! The characters she designed were fun and engaging. Her collaborative and responsive approach ensured that the final animations clearly communicated the concepts we were aiming to present.”
Andrew Smith, Grants & Special Projects Manager,Edyth Bush Institute
I used the brand identity colors of the Edyth Bush Foundation. I initially illustrated four characters that are used throughout the main parts and that led to creating more characters, associated with events and organizations/
The first ideas and drawings were a bit time-consuming to animate and would have not met the client's ambitious deadline.  My solution was to simplify them by taking out the details. This made the final design look clean and made it easier for viewers to focus on the main message of the explainers instead of extra visuals.
